What Your Donation Has Funded

These aren't hypothetical "your £10 could" examples. This is what's actually gone out the door, most recent first.

Other Ways to Give

A financial donation isn't the only way to help fund equipment for NHS breast units.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my donation really 100%?

Yes. Every pound given through this page goes into the pool that funds grants to NHS breast units. The charity's running costs, admin, insurance, hosting, are covered separately and never come out of a donation. We have no paid trustees and are volunteer-run.

What does Gift Aid actually mean for my donation?

If you're a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid lets us reclaim the tax already paid on your donation, adding 25p for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you. A £20 donation becomes £25 for the cause. You tick a box during checkout, that's the whole process.

Can I give a one-off donation or set up a monthly gift?

Both. The donation form above lets you choose one-off or monthly. Monthly donors get a free donor account so you can manage, pause or change your gift at any time, details are emailed to you automatically.

Can I choose which hospital my donation goes to?

Not for individual online donations. We pool donor income and direct it as full grants to the NHS trusts with the greatest need at the time, which is how a £2,300 gift and a £10,000 gift end up funding equipment side by side. If you're planning a larger corporate or in-memory gift and would like to discuss directing it to a specific trust, get in touch and we'll talk it through.

Is Beat Breast Cancer a registered charity?

Yes, we're a registered UK charity. We publish every grant we make on our donations page, including the hospital, the amount and the date, so you can see exactly where the money has gone.

What if I'd rather not donate online?

You can send a cheque or arrange a bank transfer (see other ways to give above), or donate clothes, bras, or shop through our V2 Classic partnership instead.
