£2,300 Donated To East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust (ELHT)
Beat Breast Cancer's first donation, supporting the breast cancer unit at Royal Blackburn Hospital with essential equipment.

Beat Breast Cancer’s journey began in March 2020 with a £2,300 donation to East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, supporting the breast cancer unit at Royal Blackburn Hospital. As a Lancashire-based charity, this first grant was a proud moment, directly supporting the local community where it all started. The funding was used to help equip the hospital’s breast unit with tools to support diagnosis and patient care, laying the foundation for everything the charity has gone on to achieve. This donation set the standard for how Beat Breast Cancer operates: 100% of the funds going directly to where they’re needed most.
