In September 2020, Beat Breast Cancer donated £2,100 to the Royal Liverpool University Hospital to support their breast cancer services. The Royal Liverpool is a key part of the city’s healthcare infrastructure, providing diagnostic, surgical and treatment services for breast cancer patients across Merseyside. This grant helped fund equipment to improve the accuracy and speed of breast cancer diagnosis, giving clinicians the tools they need to identify cancer earlier and plan treatment with greater precision. Made during a particularly challenging time for the NHS, this donation ensured that investment in breast cancer care continued when it was needed most.
