One of our largest single donation to date, helping fund specialist breast cancer equipment at one of Europe's leading cancer centres.
In April 2023, Beat Breast Cancer made one of its largest single grant to date, a £10,000 donation to The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester. The Christie is one of Europe’s leading specialist cancer treatment centres, treating more than 60,000 patients a year and playing a key role in cancer research. Our grant was directed towards supporting their breast cancer unit with specialist equipment designed to aid earlier and more accurate diagnosis. This donation represents a significant milestone for the charity and reflects the generosity of our donors and partners in helping us make a real difference at the highest level of cancer care.
